Dr. Daniel Simhaee

Dr. Daniel Simhaee grew up in a family of physicians and realized from a young age what a privilege it is to care for others. Watching the positive impact his father had on the community inspired him to pursue a career in medicine. With a detail-oriented nature and a passion for working with his hands, Dr. Simhaee was naturally drawn to Ophthalmology. He finds great fulfillment in delivering precise, personalized care with compassion and kindness. Patients frequently comment on how comfortable, respected, and well cared for they feel under his care.

Dr. Simhaee also has a strong personal interest in health and wellness and frequently shares health and fitness tips with friends, family, and patients. He leads an active lifestyle that includes yoga, biking, and rock climbing. A regular prayer and meditation practice helps guide his work with compassion, mindfulness, and integrity. He often educates patients on the benefits of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices as part of a comprehensive approach to wellness. Above all, Dr. Simhaee believes that exceptional patient care requires more than academic, clinical, and technical expertise, it also requires understanding each patient’s unique emotional, psychological, and social needs.

Dr. Simhaee has a natural affinity for languages and frequently speaks English, Spanish, Farsi, and Hebrew with patients and their families.
